Manchester ABID City Visitor Charge
From 1st April 2023, the City of Manchester introduced the Manchester Accommodation Business Improvement District (ABID) charge. This is a £1.00 per room, per night supplementary charge applied to all stays within the Manchester ABID zone, including Roomzzz Manchester City and Roomzzz Manchester Corn Exchange.The levy is used to fund the development, marketing, and promotion of Manchester as a leading visitor destination, supporting local events, festivals, and improvements to the city’s visitor experience.

Edinburgh Visitor Levy
From 24th July 2026, the City of Edinburgh will introduce a 5% visitor levy on the cost of overnight accommodation. This charge will apply to all short-term stays, including those at Roomzzz Edinburgh Aparthotel, and is designed to support the sustainability and growth of tourism within the city.The funds generated will contribute to maintaining and enhancing Edinburgh’s vibrant culture, events, and public spaces for residents and visitors alike.
